The hero grape of Sicily Nero d'Avola has found a long-term home in the beautiful McLaren Vale. It's no surprise considering the region's maritime climate - a little hint of the Mediterranean in South Australia. This elegant red is predominantly Cabernet with it's depth of blackcurrant flavour bay leaf and black olive. The addition of Nero adds further dark fruit depth and complexity as well as a tight tannin 'kick' which will keep you on your toes. Thoroughly enjoyable for any Cabernet lover.
